That is 9 at home and 13 on the road. We are a crappy road team, but we own Philly and the Mets, so we'll have to pull it out against PR, and Atlanta will be okay because their season is over.

Phillies:

4 in Philly against NYM

4 in ATL

3 in Pitt

3 in Philly against FL

3 in Philly against Cin

3 in Miami

3 in Philly against ATL

Philly has 13 at home and 10 on the road.

Lets say we beat them 4 out of 6.

So if they go 10 and 7 versus every one else, their record will be 12 and 11.

And I was being nice saying we'd take 4 of 6 from them. Their bullpen is garbage, and we can feast on that. Ill change it to 5 out of 6.

I have no clue if an official announcement was made but basically it's Carlos Silva.

 

Your going to see very little of Jose Mesa as THe Phils try to avoid having to pick up his option.

You will see almost nothing of Mesa, Mesa is only a few games of way of getting another season at 5 mil, you will see nothing of him.

 

Williams role is basically clean up, Silva is an excellent closer till he most likely becomes a starter next year.

 

After that The Phils Pen is solid so I don't know how two players who you will see little of affects The Pen.

 

Also Miami15 what are you talking about THe Marlins are champs? THe Braves are easily the champs of this division, I don't know how not winning your division makes you a champ.

I was saying we play better against the East, than anyone else does.

Joe Table, and Mike Williams may not be the closers anymore, but Silva isn't Smoltz or Gagne. Plus, it isn't like they go 8 with the starters and bring in Silva.

Looper isn't Gagne or Smoltz but he aint bad. Combined with Uggy he has been very effective.

Silva has an era of 4.48. He has two saves in his career. Going into the final stretch of a playoff run, would you want a guy with two career saves as your closer?

He got his only save before the allstar break, and has a era of over 6 since then. His August ERA was 4.50.

And Looper is?

i hope i dont jinx anything, but Looper has been damn good this year.....
