September 7, 200322 yr usc shoudl be #2. ohio state and miami have not looked that impressive so far.
September 7, 200322 yr Well if coming back from a 23 point defecit in the second half against a tough secondary isn't impressive, then I am a flying pig.
September 7, 200322 yr miami should never of been in the position to have to come back from 23 points down.
September 7, 200322 yr miami should never of been in the position to have to come back from 23 points down. Agreed. But again, how is the comeback not in itself reason to jump OSU? Buckeyes are losing soon. Maybe to the Wolfpack, maybe not. But they will have at least a 1 in the L column by the time Michigan walks in, be it more I don't know yet.
September 7, 200322 yr i never said you shouldnt jump OSU. where did i say that? i simply said USC should be #2.
September 7, 200322 yr so then for almost losing to a florida team on your home field you should be #2...... makes no logical sense.
September 7, 200322 yr lol....UM didnt even cover the spread. They barely won. They ran the same little fade pass to Dallas Baker 3 times in a row, and if it weren't for true freshman Leak's underthrown fade pass, the Gators could very well be sitting in the top 10 right now...and Miami would be hanging on to the top 10. UM barely won. They were lucky. Yes, they played a great 1 1/2 quarters, but they still barely beat a team that wasn't even ranked 2 weeks ago. And as for Florida's secondary...I thought their defense was supposed to be weak? Wasn't that going to be the weakspot on this team? Keiwan Ratliff and Gus Scott are returning starters. Darryl Dixon and Corey Bailey have experience...but throw in people like Jackson and such, and you have an inexperienced defense. Just because they shut Berlin down in the first 3 quarters doesnt mean they have an impressive secondary. Now, are they underrated? Yes. Are the Gators underrated? Yes.
