Posted September 9, 200321 yr When was the last time you went to the theatre? What did you see? I am not talking about the cinematic theatre, I am talking what many consider to be 'plays' If you havent been? Why don't you go? For me I havent been in about a year and a half, probably pushing two years. Last thing I saw was the Admin Gatlin production of the Civil War, it was ok, but not that great. I would go back but I am too damn poor.
September 10, 200321 yr Last thing I saw was the Admin Gatlin production of the Civil War, it was ok, but not that great. The last show I saw was Contact in April. It was a little better than okay; it had a good ending which saved it. I saw Admin Gatlin in The Civil War too. It was totally unmemorable. If you're going to see another show, go see Mama Mia. That was a lot of fun, even if you're not an ABBA fan (which I'd assume 99% of the people on this board are not). By the end of the play, everybody in the audience was dancing in the aisles, from the little kids to the little old ladies.

September 10, 200321 yr Eh,the last time I went was with a school fieldtrip. It was at the Biltmore hotel and we saw the story of Anne Frank. And thats the only play I have ever seen.
September 10, 200321 yr I saw "Chicago" on Broadway last weekend with Melanie Griffith. Even with Melanie Griffith, Chicago is Chicago... a great show! I saw "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change" off-Broadway a little while back - fun show. I saw "Waiting for Jarr Jarr" off-Broadway which was also humorous if not amatureish. I also saw "Movin' Out" on Broadway. Great show for Billy Joel fans... This, of course, isn't counting park theater like "Henry V" with Liev Schreiber or "Midsummer Night's Dream" at a local vineyard [which was kinda fun] or shows like that...
September 10, 200321 yr Author oh yeah.... i forget school theatre.... but i forget the name of the play.... some can be quite good....but some sucks.
