UFC 59

God how awesome was that Sylvia fight? I can't beleive he got right back up and knocked him down..

i love UFC.. half the guys in this thing train here in davenport.. i actually met Sylvia and Hughes at fight night at a strip club down here

any other UFC fans?

Count me in as shocked that Sylvia beat Arlovski. I was with the majority in thinking he was going to go down after that big right hand.

Good for Sylvia coming back and winning the right after losing the belt due to steroid use 3 years ago.

I like Tito Ortiz, but his fight with Griffin should have been a draw...that third judge scoring it 30-27 in a damn even fight is absurd and a joke.

I'm glad to see a good PPV after 58. 58 was pretty bad (USA v. Canada) and 57 was mediocre.

I can;t stand Tito at all.. i used to not like Forrest but i dont mind him now.

I think Tito won the fight though.. even though he didn't do much damage in the 3rd, it was the take down that won it.

Sylvia is the man though.. such a big mother.

Needs to be a 3rd fight. I think Sylvia actually got a little lucky to catch Arlovski who became a little ultra aggressive trying to end the fight. I think the ref stopped it a little early, I would have given it a couple of more seconds.

As for the Tito fight, he looked unreal in round one but def. seemed a little injured and fatigued there after. I think a prime Tito destroys Griffin but I think Griffin actually might have won that fight. The 30-27 was a joke and I think the takedown by Tito in round 3 won the fight for him, but if watched closely, it is Tito that takes most of the abusive in that particular confrontation.

I CAN NOT WAIT for Hughes-Gracie.

I can't wait for it either... but Hughes-Gracie won't even be a fight... Hughes is the best fighter in the world, period.

If you look at Gracie, you wouldn't think he can beat anyone he does, yet he always dominates. I agree Hughes has to be the favorite but would you be shocked if Gracie wins? I won't be if he does and to tell you the truth, I think I might be rooting for him as well even though Hughes is one of my favorites. On the down side, usually fights this hyped and highly tought of rarely live up to the hype and usually stink.

That was a great PPV. And Forrest put up a much bigger fight than I expected.
