September 16, 200322 yr :banghead I really want to see the game tonight versus the Phillies, but since I live in Central Florida I won't be able to see the game on PAX. Now, I heard there is a way to bypass the blackouts by using a proxy server not in this state. Now, how exactly do I do that and what websites let you do this? Help...please?
September 16, 200322 yr Don't bother PM'ing me. What you want to do is illegal on mlb.tv. From the rules there: If you attempt to circumvent or circumvent any blackout restriction or other use restriction: your subscription will be subject to immediate termination and a charge of one hundred dollars ($100) for early termination; you may be subject to legal action; and MLBAM reserves the right to report such misconduct to appropriate law enforcement authorities.
September 16, 200322 yr Tonight's game is not on because there is no RSN broadcasting it on the dish. 1) Comcast Sports Net Philly is cable only and doesn't allow anyone to carry it on satellite or online. 2) Marlins telecast is on PAX, which is not an RSN, so it cannot be picked up by MLBEI or MLB.tv
September 16, 200322 yr Author Then, why would they post it on their schedule? http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/video/mlb_tv.jsp
September 16, 200322 yr wahoooo it wasnt supposed to be on tonight! paybe it was added!?! awesomeness
September 17, 200322 yr I'm not sure if you still want to know how to use MLB.TV with proxies, but I'll let you know, I know some good free proxy sites. If you have AIM, IM me on "Maven Loves You". It's ridiculous MLB.TV would cancel your account for trying to view these games. I've been watching blacked out games for about 2 months now though.
