I couldn't get up the nerve

Featured Replies

to ask this chick out, so my friends hit me in the head with a socket wrench. No joke. I now have motivation not to get hit again.

I can honestly say that I'm more motivated, now.

UPDATE: So, last night, my friend hit me in the head with a socket wrench. This morning I woke up to find my forehead had swelled up to look like a cro-magnon. To add further injury, my brother dropped a trailer onto my ankles. It has not been a good two days.

It could have all been prevented if you asked the girl out.

What is with you guys "Getting up the nerve."

We're just people- ask and we'll answer. There's no big mystery. Are you afraid of rejection?

Approaching a female is one of the hardest things a male can do. It's not as easy as girls would have it out to be.

I've always lived with the motto "99% of people don't get what they want because they're afraid to ask, the worst that could happen if you ask is the situation remains status quo."

To this date it has never worked with females, because of basically what Juanky said...

You know what the funny thing is, I'm not in the slightest bit afraid of rejection. I've been reject before and it usually doesn't hurt. It's the asking of the question part that's hard.

Ok, she was there today, so that sways my worries about her being in high school a bit. I still didn't ask her out, though. Man, I'm such douchebag.

Still, I had just gotten out of work too, so I didn't exactly look the best, so it was probably for the better that I didn't today.

well... thats a step closer... instead of beating you with a socket wrench... your friend will probably bludgeon you with a screwdriver now

I imagine that a screw driver has the potential to be much worse than a socket wrench.

if he's a real friend he'll go all out for the handsaw.

You guys are so supportive. I love you all.
