I'm going to make a statement here, and I hope ALL parties will read it and understand it.

 

TSwift, you were suspended for continuing to mock and/or berate miamibaseball for something he has no control of after you were warned by at least one moderator and were also explained to why this is frowned upon by myself just a few days ago. Only 1 warning is necessary and we warned you multiple times. You were NOT suspended for disrepecting a moderator or for a moderator being upset at losing an argument. That part of the suspension I am officially striking from the record. You are allowed to voice your displeasure in a mature manner though please, this condescending sir BS is not necessary and I think you know better than that. miamibaseball has done nothing wrong and you continued to mock him with your latest post quoting his just to get on his case a little more with a snide remark such as "I think we heard you the first time" or something to that extent. Leave the guy alone, I know you don't like the way he posts or maybe don't like him but you can place him on ignore if you wish. Your post came after sufficient warnings to leave that specific user alone and you did not do so.

 

I have asked Dodge to not call you or anyone names again, or to say someone is acting like a jackass or to randomly curse as he did. That is not how a moderator should act and I hope it will not happen again.

 

We like to hear the feedback from all of you and I like to have a chance to settle everyone down a bit but everyone will need to be mature in these cases and should only chime in if they actually know what's going on. Users vs Mods is easy to join but please know what you're talking about if you're going to join the "battle".

 

You're a great supporter of the site, Swift and one of the more intelligent users on this site and I hope you will be able to move on from this experience and go back to talking about the fish and baseball in general without this issue hanging over our heads forever. Please let it go, and please let the miamibaseball issue go, and please let the Dodge issue now go as well. Dodge will, we all will if you will.

Admin, I was banned directly after telling Dodge "do whatever helps you sleep at night." He then told me "see you later, smartass."

 

That's mutually exclusive to what I was warned for.

 

The response of "I think I got you the first time" wasn't berating his grammar. I didn't even bring him up after Dodge told me to stop.

 

I don't think I'm alone in saying that the new mods are over stepping their bounds. I'm sorry it had to be aired publically, but I e-mailed you to no response and I also PM'd you.

 

I just want you to know that I think this is a very bad thing and a very bad precedent to set.

I enjoy reading Swift's post as they are much more intelligent then 80% of the stuff posted on here.

 

Admin well said brother. Your a class act, a gentleman and a scholar.

TSwift is a good poster and brings good knowledge of baseball to the table. I think the spat between him and Dodgii is unfortunate. I hope you guys can resolve the issue. Dodgii, I think you are taking the job of being a moderator a bit too serious. I am not trying to belittle you or in any way shape or form put you down. Just calm down a bit. All in all I think there are bigger fish to fry on this site. Now kiss and make up.

I'm away on vacation as you know so delays should be expected. I'm sure it'd be aired publically either way so I doubt that matters to be honest. Airing things publically allows for a team effort vs the staff that's why everyone here always does it when a post is deleted or a post is locked or they are banned because obviously nobody can do any wrong. Nothing wrong with that, we've got nothing to hide, just saying... I know it'd be here either way. Just like your last 2 topics this past week about miamibaseball were posted here without contacting me first privately.

 

You were on the user's case because you seem to not like him, that is a problem. Dodge wrote in the notes and explained to me you were banned in part for continuing to have issue with said user. I'd like you to know any mod including myself would or at least should ban you for that... after multiple warnings specific to leaving the user alone.

 

You've only had issue with Dodge so why say all the new mods are overstepping? That's not fair to the other 4 new mods who I don't believe you've had any run-ins with at all.

I was banned in a thread where Dodge and ONLY DODGE was in an argument with me. I was told grammar was not to be addressed, I found it hypocritical that a mod would then address grammar. One snide remark later and I'm banned. I wasn't even the one to use profanity or directly assail a user.

 

That's it, I'm sorry it's come this far and is this pathetic. It's your website you can run it into the ground as you see fit, but I'm not alone, Admin, just look at the thread. I'm not hiding anything like Dodge alluded. All it comes down to is I made a mod look stupid without using profanity or condescending remarks. If that's good enough to get me banned while guys like prin and rferry continually call me an idiot without reprecussion, or the san antonio trolls run amok and add nothing but clutter, I'm insulted, offended and seriously questioning if it's even worth my effort to voice an opinion here.

 

I answered this above. You weren't banned for that, you should've been banned prior to it anyway and I have removed the addition Dodge put of "disrespecting a moderator" that comes with the territory to an extent we're all hated and disrespected and we know it and accept it.

 

I told you we listened to what you said me especially, I answered every concern. I know you have people siding with you, it's because you are a user and we are mods, that's how it works on any website in the world. 99% of users will join the user side of an argument over the mod side regardless of the facts.

Admin. Nobody's drawing a line in the sand of us versus them regarding the moderators I don't know why you keep bringing that up. I just found it ironic that I've never had a run in here, ever, in close to three years and then all of a sudden, the new mod(s), beetle too, are stepping all over me.

Heck you've been on both sides of that fence in just the past few days. We haven't been doing enough with a user you feel is/was consistently inciting a problem with you while on the other hand we're power hungry... can't be both.

My anger stemmed from the fact that inaction was par for the course, now I learn that it's only OK to pick on users one to one, the second you bring a mod into it, then all bets are off.

 

If I deserved my ban, a few others deserve a reprimand.
