butchy Posted May 18, 2006 Share Posted May 18, 2006 Pitcher of the Week Gaby Hernandez, Jupiter 1-0, 1.20 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 15.0 IP, 9 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 12 SO Hernandez surrendered a single run in each of his two starts this week, earning a well-deserved win on Monday and a no-decision on Saturday. The 19-year-old right-hander struck out 12 and walked just one over his two starts. He now has 42 strikeouts in 45 1/3 innings pitched on the season.
