May 20, 200620 yr Where is WildMarlinsMan with that prospect list of his? Just list everyone in the Marlins organization who has ever thrown a pitch between little league & the majors and let's start shuttling them in here. Guys in the minors, front office, cleanup crew, whatever. What's that? Pitched an inning once in high school, you say? Step right up! Pitched in beer league softball at 42 years old last fall? What number do you want to wear? Hey you! Didn't you used to set the ball on the tee for a teeball league back in 1996? Suit up! C'mere kid! You threw that newspaper pretty close to my front door this morning, I like that arm! We'll try a new one every single inning.

Carlos Martinez looked like the real deal. Maybe Anibel Sanchez can close this year.
May 20, 200620 yr who's the closer? nobody. but keep the faith fellow fans, we'll climb out of the cellar eventually. It might take a few years, but im still enjoying the ride, its just more frustrating at times, that's all.
May 20, 200620 yr Seeing as we trot Joe Borowski out there for save situations, I would imagine he is it. The only flaw in that logic is that Borowski really really blows. There is a reason those of us that have seen him play never wanted to see it again.

I've been calling him Joe Blwo since his days as a Cub. It just hasn't caught on like it should have, considering it's an obvious choice to be a nickname.
