June 12, 200620 yr Author UGH! i bought this sh*t today because i figured since it came out last week all the rosters would be up to date... Marlins have Aguila, Andino, Cepicky, HARRIS, and REESE(?!?!?!?!)... no Uggla, no Abercrombie, no Ross, no Borchard. and all the positions are wrong. what the f*** MLB Slugfest 2006...

June 13, 200620 yr Go to EB's bargain bin, pick up MVP 2005, install and then go to mvpmods.com and update. Would that be for PC or Mac or both?
June 13, 200620 yr Would that be for PC or Mac or both? Just for the PC, unless the PC game from EA Sports will also run on your Mac. I highly recommend getting the MVPMods update which converts the MVP05 into MVP06. I have been playing it now for over a month and it plays highly realistic (sure my Marlins are 11-18 so far, but I do appreciate the realism!). Get as many mods as you can. I helped in creating the Dolphin Stadium mod which allows you to play in a super realistic DS. The best mod that has come out in recent years is the Box Score Extractor which creates realistic boxscores that look like the ones on ESPN.com. Combine that with the MVPSavReader mod and you can create a highly realistic experience if you're into statistics. After you buy MVP05, go to MVPMods and just follow all the download instructions. Get the MVP06, "In Like Flint (ILF)" version, it will make your life much easier.
June 13, 200620 yr do the character models look alright in the mods? Nothing really changes from MVP2005 to the MVP06 Mod. What you get is an updated roster, updated schedule, and all of the stadium modifications (except for the new Busch Stadium which you have to download separately). The character models look pretty good. The modders did an amazing job with the update.
