Who Should We Blame For Today's Loss?

A combination of Sanchez, Ramirez, and Vargas.

Yeah it has to be deemed a TEAM LOSS. You cant blame Sanchez, Ramirez and Vargas and leave out Josh "Butterfingers" Willingham and the Tank.

And of course you have to lay some of the blame on Reggie simply for his "Reggie-ness".

:thumbup

:lol

You forgot Olivo :whistle

I know 7 runs is a lot and will win almost every day, but not being able to add just one or two onto that over the next 5+ innings gave the Nats some confidence and a chance to come back.

this is the order they should be blamed in:

1) The pitchers for walking 12 F***ING batters!! (4 Intentional)

2) Helms and Hanley for not driving in abercrombie when all that was needed was a flyball

3) Willingham for pulling a Reggie

4) Vargas for throwing a strike down the middle to Zimmerman when there was a lefty on deck

5) Ramirez for letting that first guy on in the 11th

6) Anibal for sucking in the first inning

7) The offense for going to sleep after the 2nd

But, Vargas' control looked good and it's nice to see our offense respond for the second game in a row after having big numbers put up against them early in the game. If our pitchers don't walk 9.000 people we win that game.

I remember my boss mentioning that the Marlins' outfielders shouldn't have been playing as deep as they were with the winning run on third.

Were there two outs then? Because if there were, I can see it. A single is going to score a run anyway no matter how shallow you play. If it's a fly ball, it's easier to run up on it than run back, and all you need to do would be to catch it for the third out.

Yea, there were two outs but it didnt matter where the OFers played, for it was a single up the middle and no one was throwing out the man on 3rd

Hopefully that not the case for this game.
