August 13, 200620 yr Besides, AA had a solid game tonight. Except for f***ing up when it was the most important.
August 13, 200620 yr Author He kept playing, yes, but the adrenaline probably didn't wear off yet. Injuries can flare up once adrenaline wears off, that's why people wake up the next morning after a game and feel like crap. Not saying that's definitely what happened, but c'mon, it's more than a possibility. No need to jump all over Girardi without knowing the facts. Besides, AA had a solid game tonight. lol... AA was a decent play by Webb, away from going 0/4
August 13, 200620 yr Am I the only one who likes Amezaga? I think he's an extremely valuable utility man. He doesn't have a great bat, but he's played 5 different positions for us this year, and he's got great speed. He seems to be solid defensively when he plays the infield.
August 13, 200620 yr Loria should have fired him. You don't take out a player who's getting back on track. The rest a player after a good night theory is horse sh*t. Back on track? He's been derailed since the first game of the season.

He's been derailed since the first game of the season. He had a good couple of games. No strikeouts, and he hit quite a few balls hard. Not to mention he plays centerfield without looking retarded, which can't be said about Amezaga.
