August 15, 200620 yr Author Being able to transer to and from my iPod. Using that program, can I still add/delete stuff from my iPod or is that program only used for songs on your local disk.

Speaking of managing iPods, whenever I plug mine in to update it, it deletes the tracks I have on there already. It's not really that big of a deal because I have all the songs on there on my hard drive but is there a way to stop that from happening?

Edit -> Prefrences -> iPod -> Music tab -> Click the circle for manually manage songs and playlists Let me know if that works or not.

Another thing is I had my cousin put her music on my Ipod, because we like the same kinda stuff...and it erased everything that was currently on my ipod. so after her music was on I tried to add my music to the existing music there..and it says I'd have to delete everything on the Ipod for it to update. anyone know what to do?
