If you need a glove then Ross should be in left, not Borchard anyways. I don't understand that either, but why not mix things up. We are having problems scoring runs. Or maybe there's some minor injury we don't know about. Or maybe there's some righty-lefty tendencies we haven't looked into.

Borchard is hitting .234 against RHP, Olivo .288, and Jeremy .275. Again if there is an injury, it doesn't mean Borchard should be batting 5th.
August 16, 200620 yr I'm still a bit confused on the whole "Reggie actually looked good recently, let's bench him again for a week" idea Why give him the two consecutive games and then bench him like he played badly? It just doesn't make sense. I really don't get it.
August 16, 200620 yr I really wish Borchard would hit, but some of his at-bats just look terrible. I know he doesn't get enough time to get in a rhythm but the number of times that he either watches a strike go by or swings & misses..... ugh. Come on Borch, have a big night.
