August 19, 200620 yr I was off from work for once on a Saturday and decided to walk around downtown Manhattan and noticed that a Modell's was closing and had a lot of stuff on closeout. Lots of Mets and Yankees stuff and a bunch of junk - Texas Hold'em chips and what not. However, I managed to uncover something worthwhile while rummaging through the tables: a stack of 2003 World Series programs. They're not in 100% mint condition but pretty close to it - probably have been sitting in a storage room for the past three years after Beckett tagged Posada in Game 6 - so I decided to pick up two. The price? $2 - total plus the outrageous sales tax we're paying to fund, among other things, two new stadiums. I don't know how many they'll have left but if anybody's taking a trip to Lower Manhattan, stop by 200 Broadway and check it out. If I end up getting back there and they have some left, I might pick some up and see if any of you want them. I have no idea how easy it would be to get these down in Florida, but I was surprised to get this lucky.
August 20, 200620 yr I remember the Marlins were giving them out last year or the year before as part of a season ticket package (or something similiar)... though it's still nice that you found them. My program isn't in mint condition, but that's because I couldn't keep it dry at Game 3 - it rained and the stadium staff didn't allow umbrellas or large bags, so it was under the seat.

I didn't get one.
August 20, 200620 yr I got one at a season ticket holders event. They were giving them out with various autographs and mine was signed by Andre Dawson. I also remember that rainy WS game and I don't know how I did it but I managed to keep mine dry.

August 21, 200620 yr That's way down there, almost financial district down. If anyone else cares, the last time I was into the Yankee store in the Fulton Fish Market they were trying to sell off all the 2003 WS stuff too, they had cases upon cases of official baseballs and programs...it might be worth a call if anyone's seriously searching.
August 21, 200620 yr I got one at game 4 I'll never forget that home run... I will forever love Alex Gonzalez.
