Could the Glass Slipper work?

Featured Replies

It is scary to remember that the city used to own the Arena and sold it for like 26 million. What a shame.

Is that because they have to buy it back now? Does the Arena play into this whole thing somehow? I"m trying to dissect all your posts.

The Arena is going to be sold to a developer who wants to turn it into an indoor shopping mall.

Just destroy the Arena to make more room for a retractable roof :plain (that was a joke)

But anyways not a big fan of the glass idea. My best guess is that there'd be some sort of overhang over the upper deck like 03 suggested.

no need to look into my comments about the arena. I was just thinking out loud. I am not sure the developer who has it under contract can make a deal work at his price. Just my opinion.

Actually the Miami Arena was purchased at auction 2 years ago for $28 Million by Glenn Straub and he in turn has an agreement on the table to sell it to Scott Silver for $55 Million. It must be nice to make almost 100% on an investment in 2 years... if only I had had 28million laying around to spend on things like that...lol
