And we're forgetting the best part about Josias Manzanillo. Occassionally, he would hit his cup real hard with the baseball. Apparently, years before he took a line drive to the testicles and lost one because of it. He would do that in order to remind himself that it could happen again. He was a fun guy to watch. He started off hot when we first got him, but then he started giving up runs like crazy.

One of the best examples of this may be Coors Field in Denver. "LoDo" was one of the absolute worst parts of the city but once Coors Field was built it has become a hot spot for night life as well as many new restaurants and other attractions. The stadium did wonders for the neighborhood as well as the city of Denver... I agree with this 110%. I moved to Denver about 3 years ago and am amazed at what Coors Field has done to that area. There is tons of nightlife and cool bars and property values have SOARED. Coors Field is also one of the most beautiful, fan-friendly stadiums I've ever been to.

I am rapidly changing my mind on Loria. I was in his camp for a long time, but recently I'm just getting tired of him. There is no need to keep fueling the fire. Just shut up. People will keep asking questions, but if you give them sound bites then you make it a story. If you don't, there's nothing new to report. I personally am not a fan of Girardi and would not be upset if he was gone after this year, but he's your manager and you can't undermine him like that. To whoever said that if we get a stadium its all because of Girardi...I have no idea what you're talking about. I hope that was a typo because otherwise its ridiculous to even say that. Girardi has 0% to do with anything stadium related. Also, I love people using Dontrelle quotes to show how good Girardi is. When have you ever heard Dontrelle say anything negative about anyone? I think if Dave Wannstedt was his manager he'd say "I love Coach. He's great". Loria just needs to shut the hell up...cheer on his team as they try and ride this momentum into the playoffs...and worry about getting us the stadium.

Someone has mentioned something about Selig having the power to remove Loria...I had never heard that before. How can a commissioner do something like that? Does he need votes from other owners? Does he need cause? I'm confused by that.

I hope the papers down here get off their a** and start reporting on this damn thing. If there really was a reasonable deal on the table and Loria turned it down, that'll be the tipping point for me. I've been on Loria's side since he got here...that may change.

I can't pick one. I go to both the Herald and Sun Sentinel for my news. Sometimes I go to SS first, sometimes I go to the Herald first. Can't pick one of them.

It is UGLY out there right now. I'm in Downtown and the sky is pitch black. I'm hoping this game can be played. Its my last chance to catch the Fish before I head back to school. Anyone know the forecast for tonight?

honestly, I don't care who we chase. I'm just glad that St. Louie has been struggling. Now we just have to hope for one of those two teams to fail.

It is scary to remember that the city used to own the Arena and sold it for like 26 million. What a shame. Is that because they have to buy it back now? Does the Arena play into this whole thing somehow? I"m trying to dissect all your posts.

Today is a big day for the Marlins even though they are not on the field. Did whatever was supposed to happen to make this a big day happen? Was it going to be something that wasn't public? Day is almost over.
