August 25, 200619 yr honestly, I don't care who we chase. I'm just glad that St. Louie has been struggling. Now we just have to hope for one of those two teams to fail.

August 25, 200619 yr We're not chasing anyone until atleast next year Don't give up yet...we have already seen 2 miracle seasons in the Marlin franchise....ever since that Girardi article came out in the Herald about the Marlins not being out of it, we have gone 4-0 since. Given, we are a really big LONG shot, pitching wins championships and our guys give us a chance to win every night out.

August 26, 200619 yr I would rather chase the Cardinals because they have no pitching and besides Pujols and maybe Rolen they are not intimidating anybody with the offense. Dont get me wrong their offense is good but its not the Reds lineup.

August 26, 200619 yr If people say the Red Sox are in the WC then we are too. The Sox are only .5 games ahead of us. I know that we have more teams in front of us but nobody is running away with the WC (NL). The AL WC is so strong (record wise) that its going to be hard for the Twins/W. Sox etc: to colapse. We just have to win. Thats all we can do.
