  1. The Marlins, taking the Rainbow BACK! Mo money mo colors.
  2. ^^^ LOL username. Updated.
  3. Won't happen, I know, but Scott Boras reported [via MLB Network] that Prince would accept a 3 year deal. It really doesn't make sense for Boras to accept a three year deal. Why re-enter the market when Prince will only get older and possibly fatter? If he really wanted to re-enter the market he would accept a one year deal.
  4. gameday just showed that his fast ball was 89mph and his change up has been around 85 :banghead
  5. wow that was horrible f***ing empire
  6. I just hope we can get the best possible deal for Uggla I really want the Marlins to compete next year. Maybe Uggla has an awesome spring training and his value goes up somewhat.
  7. All in all this is looking like a mini firesale.Because none of those guys Uggla, Cantu or Ross suck.Unlike Mike Jacobs or Scott Olsen. Gotta love how this word is only used when the Marlins make such moves. As Tommy Hutton said the other day, every team adds and drops players every offseason. Yet, when the Marlins do it, it's a firesale. Mind you, there's a possibility they keep 2 of those 3 players. Especially Cody Ross...all indications seem to be that he's staying. Oh please it's different when the Marlins do it. Yeah those teams add and drop players. We drop stars and try to replace them with prospects or cheap FA gambles.
  8. Horrible starting pitching we lose You expect the starting pitching to allow -1 runs so we can win?
  9. Notice lately when the team lose, their are very few posting in the game thread, fan in winning, fan in losing. That's because we go on rampages and start punching babies. Not good to punch babies. J/K So you think it IS good to punch babies??? :shifty
  10. I bet you thought this article was real too: Rare Centuple Play Ends Mets' Season August 27, 2009 | Issue 45•35 | Onion Sports MIAMI—In a sudden end to a trying year, the Mets' Jeff Francoeur lined into a rare centuple play against the Florida Marlins Wednesday, which by rule cut New York's season short. "I hit it on the screws, but it just happened to be in a spot where they could turn a hundred," said Francoeur, who watched helplessly as Marlins second baseman Dan Uggla tagged everyone in the Mets dugout before heading into the clubhouse and tagging both equipment manager Charlie Samuels and physical therapist John Zajac. "You take a risk by starting the runners but I didn't think he'd have enough time to run up to the executive suite and get [Mets GM] Omar [Minaya] and [team owner] Fred [Wilpon]. I guess by the 80th out we'd all just given up." This was the most outs recorded on a single play since the 2004 Montreal Expos were eradicated from the league after hitting into an ∞-play. :lol
  11. Every year all we are hearing lets be spoilers, to hell with spoiler, i want to win, it seem like some here are happy with second place or spoiler, i say win or it is a lost season, JMO :notworthy
  12. Notice lately when the team lose, their are very few posting in the game thread, fan in winning, fan in losing. That's because we go on rampages and start punching babies.
  13. Don't blame Vostlad for the lost today. Anyone would lose with 0 runs of support.
  14. There are more fish in the sea :thumbup
