2nd and 3rd and nobody out in the 1st and we dont score? Tell me its not true. Fan graphs this is the 7th start of Volstad where the Marlins have scored 1 or 0 runs for him. Terrible. no wonder he has so many losses. We had 8 hits and 3 walks by the 5th inn with no strikeouts and dont score? We score 7 runs in one inn yesterday and nada today? This team is not playoff type. A shutout at least Johnson avoided another loss

Not true. The first 11 or 12 starts were good 9 quality starts just little run support.

Chris and pen at least kept us in it. That's the best I can say. LOB-8....RISP-7....And yet again another slow throwing lefty beats us. BAH

When did the "secret" get out about the after game celebration? Never seen it that crowded before. The sound system was terrible. 2 gangsta wannabes prancing around on the stage. Overcrowded area..........We left and caught the second half of the 4:00 NFL games.

Disappointing day all around.

My guess would be sometime around when the PA announcer said "Fans, after the game come to the Strikezone at Gate H for a post-game celebration featuring Pitbull, Marlins players, the Mermaids, and more!" with an announcement also on both 5-story tall high definition displays in white on bright orange background.

Volstad gave up 3 runs in 4 innings (including his 29th HR allowed this year) to a below average Mets lineup.

The offense sucked, but don't pretend as if Volstad "kept us in the game."

BTW, with yesterday's game, the last 3 home games of the season brought out 105,486 fans. As many on here (including myself) noted, even though it was against the Mets it was easily mostly Marlins fans. This is the 3rd most in franchise history behind 1997 (114,292) and 1993 (126,193). 2003, also against the Mets, brought out 90,948 fans.

That's good stuff.

Get back to me when it's not a New York team.

How about over 31,000 Wednesday night against Philadelphia? Is that good enough for you?

Francour is not below average and he did all the damage other than lucky Misch

Why does it matter if it was mostly Marlin fans there for a NY team?

A corner outfielder with a career .742 .OPS (.311 .OBP) isn't "below average?" That's funny coming from the board that rips Jeremy Hermida, constantly.

He is below average. Hell, he's basically Hermida.

Did you poll everyone in attendance? I doubt it.

Again, give me those numbers when it's not a New York team and/or last year's World Series team.

Hermida is actually better than Fenchy! That says a lot.

Were you there? There were many people besides me who stated the same thing.
