Does anyone know that guys name??

Rich and Tommy said it ast night but i forgot

He ran from the bullpen onto the field and ran from the field in to the dugout :lol

Well Josias Manzanillo played for us a few years back. He was a really energetic and emotional guy who left everything on the field for you. Like mentioned before when he would be called into the game he would run from the bullpen up to the mound. Every out that he would record he would pump his fist or something of that sort to keep himself pumped. I remember every time he would strike out a batter to end the inning he would leap in the air in excitement and run into the dugout screaming all sorts of things. I always though he was on drugs.. hehe

lol he would also hit himself in the side of the head in between plays...does anyone have any video of him?

And we're forgetting the best part about Josias Manzanillo. Occassionally, he would hit his cup real hard with the baseball. Apparently, years before he took a line drive to the testicles and lost one because of it. He would do that in order to remind himself that it could happen again. He was a fun guy to watch. He started off hot when we first got him, but then he started giving up runs like crazy.

:lol i never got to see him play..does anyone know where i can get some video of him?

Yes, he was in the Mitchell Report.

I noticed on BaseballReference.com that he hasn't played since he was with us in 2004. Then again, I don't know who would want a reliever with a 6+ ERA.

He was a character, that's for sure.

I miss his energy, ball knocking and all.

No matter what anyone says, this guy was cool. He was crazy. He was such a nice guy too.

What's he up to these days anyway?

I remember a game I was at when Manzy was doing the cup banging thing over and over. Some guy in my section kept saying that the fans should do it with him because it would look so cool on TV. I think he was crazier than Manzy. But yeah, Manzy was a nice guy, very fan friendly.
