RossInfoMan
MIAMI -- The National Hurricane Center says director Max Mayfield will retire in January. The Miami Herald reports that Mayfield told staffers at the center that "no one event has caused this." CapeFish
Nice to see him step down and let Cape take over. Thanks for the mention. I hope Ed Rappaport doesn't become the next director. Richard Knabb, PhD for Director of the NHC!

Richard Knabb, PhD for Director of the NHC! Excuse me, but I will be taking it over, not Cape. :shifty I don't think Rappaport will get it. Judging by how much better Knabb handles himself when explaining the issues at stake.
