umm....

 

so i'm not getting the game on channel 635...

i'm getting an error that says channel not purchased (when i've watched the game on 635 for the entire season (when its not on FSN).

 

he said i'm subscribed tot he channel.... and that the marlins might have blacked it out because of attendance...

 

 

anyone have any ideas?

 

i think i'm gonna call them back and tell them how stupid he was.

just got off the fone with another guy...

 

it looks like this is happening to everyone.

 

directv sent out a thing and they are forwarding all problems to the national control center...

 

 

there should be an update on the scrren within the next 10 minutes

I wouldnt waste your time or anger on them, the customer service people cant even wrap their brains around this one, let alone provide any type of help.

they're getting calls throughout the state, theres not anything anyone can do...

 

its not your receiver its not your phone line or TV.

 

its a DirecTV problem and they're already working on fixing it.

I know, the reason I'm pissed off is because many years ago I switched from cable to DirecTV because their service was so superior. Unfortunately, it's gone downhill and I've had problems with them. They used to be quick to respond and always helpful but lately no one has a clue about anything and you spend most of your time on hold.

I just called them (took me 40 minutes) and the lady told me the whole state was blacked out, and I told her "WTF" and she said "Im sorry" and I said "you're garbage" and I clicked.

 

I knew I should've stayed with Dish Network.

They just told me they are working on the problem. I asked if there was any chance it would be corrected before the end of the game but of course they have no idea.

 

The thing is they don't communicate and instantly send messages to their customer service reps as they should. You have to go through the whole routine of "it's blacked out", "no, it's not", it's your phone line", "no, it's not", etc.

 

Finally -- it's back!

Can't believe we DTV folks almost missed a no-hitter. Shame on them!
