Marlin Fan living next to wrigley

Featured Replies

I have been a marlins fan for years was at game 7 of the world series against the indians and just recently moved to chicago. I live 3 blocks from wrigley and its crazy down here..All streets around wrigley have been closed down with mobs of people everywhere....2 hours later and everyone is still out in the streets partying..It feels just like it did in miami after we won it all..They have no idea whats in store for them, all the fans were saying how they are going to sweep us. Its going to be one hell of a series....Cant wait for tuesday night....any other marlins live here in Chi-town.....Go fish!!!!

HAHA Thats what everones been saying about the Marlins FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON! So far so good, bring it on Cubs!

I didn't give them much of a chance a month ago, but now I'm not so sure.

I mean that pitching rotation is not a mirage. Those are aces out there. Sammy Sosa, Moises Alou, these guys are big-time. Aramis Ramirez seems to have come to life, and Kenny Lofton is delivering.

Only possible soft spots I can see is maybe a few slight holes in the lineup, and a so-so bullpen. But who ever gets to their bullpen much?

Sosa is a chump, he is not big time. He is not a team player and thats why he wont help out in the playoffs.

Prime example of this was Saturday, when he came up to bat in the bottom of the night and he represented the tying run. Of course he didnt come through and game over.

Dont be scared to pitch to him. He loves to chase the high fastball and he cant catch up to it.

I don't think the Cubs are the most underrated team in recent memory. They have terrific starting pitching, a hall-of-fame right fielder, and they're going up against a team that should be home now.
