Also the Michigan didnt win their confrence is a terrible argument and basically says that there would be no way for notre dame or temple to ever get into the national championship. The national championship is the 2 best teams in the nation not the 2 best confrence champions. Only beat Tenn by one????? What about the Michigan only lost by three........ stupid huh WIN=WIN LOSE=LOSE 12-1 with conference > 11-1, Notre Dame=OVERRATED What doesnt make sense is why was Florida gaining ground by barely beating FSU while Michigan remained idle. Another scenario i would like to think about is what would have happend if Michigan beat ohio state who would go to the championship then. The question can also be asked why should Michigan remain #2 in the first place after a LOSS. When was the last time you saw a top 5 team remain the same after a loss during the season? :notworthy Listen to this man.
December 6, 200619 yr I think in the end of this there is no rhyme or reason whatsoever. Michigan got shafted. The Gators would have been shafted if they didn't get in. In a lose/lose and the BCS is what caused it. If the pollsters didn't want a rematch they should have dropped Michigan after their loss to OSU. That way they wouldn't have to be jumped in the final two weeks despite them not playing a single game. The way this was handled was idiotic, and unfortunately one of the two teams had to get jobbed in a way. Michigan's got an argument. Florida's got an argument. That being said, in no way do I think Michigan "dominates" Florida, or whatever has been said in the past. Florida's defense is good...good enough to keep them competitive against anyone in the country. Saying that "Michigan destroys Florida" without any basis just exposes someone as an unintelligent football fan.
December 7, 200619 yr Author Bodog still has the line open on who faces Ohio State. I just wagered $55 on Florida. This article had better be right. I can't believe they paid off. Don't they read the papers? Wish I had bet more.
