Fishfan79
Before there were rumors about Jacobs for Gonzalez all around but alot on here didnt like the idea. Then there was rumors of gonzalez to the braves for LaRoche. Well it seems he is being shopped to the yankees for Melky Cabrera and Scott Proctor. The idea has been proposed of a 3 team trade for possibilities according to mlbtrade rumors and then metsblog and foxsports. Supposedly with Atlanta and LaRoche If Atlanta isnt going to move LaRoche, as it seems now that they got their closer of the future from Seattle (stupid seattle). What about Jacobs to Pitt with a prospect, Gonzalez to NYY, Melky Cabrera and Scott Proctor to here? Insane for the idea guys?
futuremarlinsgm
That is a terrific idea. We get a closer and centerfielder in the same trade. Nice thinking there man!

The problem is that I don't think NY will give up Melky and Proctor for Gonzalez. From what I have read, and heard, the Yankees are really high on Melky. catchoftheday
and why would the Yanks part with young pitching?
The Marlin Man
we would have to part ways with an arm or two....but none of our starters...which is good but then you're still minus a firstbasman.....or a left fielder if you move hammer to first
ultimopain
That would be a fantastic trade for us, however I don't think the Yankees would part with that much of their future.
