BIRON TRADED!

SPORTSNET REPORTS THE BUFFALO SABRES HAVE TOLD GOALIE MARTIN BIRON THAT HE'S BEEN TRADED. SPORTSNET BELIEVES IT MAY BE TO THE FLORIDA PANTHERS. TSN CITING RDS AS THE PHILADELPHIA FLYERS AS THE DESTINATION. STAY TUNED...

Isnt he an UFA? I would love to get him for belfour perhaps, give us a chance to see him and decide if we want to keep him. It does sorta make sense with auld going down for the year.

Wonder if it is to montreal or LA otherwise. Supposedly he has been told he is being traded according to TSN

seems he is going to philly now for conklin and a 1st ?

Weird trade. Why would the Sabres trade one of their biggest trade assets for a pick when they have so many injuries. Why would the Flyers trade for a goalie that is soon to be an UFA? Strange.

We got Biron for a conditional 1st round pick only if he signs with us.....steal of a deal.
