Any surfers?

Featured Replies

Any surfers on this board? I have a beautiful 7'2'' Spectrum that I don't get to use nearly as much as I'd like to, but these last few days have been awesome. So awesome that I've been sneaking out of work a couple hours early to go surfing.

Today I saw some really nice head high waves. I hope it keeps up this way 'till Saturday, if so I might have to make a trip to Sebastian Inlet.

if I wasnt so afraid of sharks (read: such a huge p***y), I would definitely surf

but Im a wuss and whenever Im in the water I hear the Jaws music

I need to get my board fixed...suggestions as to where to take it?

Australia... Australia is entirely peopled with criminals, and criminals are used to having people not trust them, as you are not trusted by me, so I can clearly not choose the wine in front of you.

[sorry - couldn't resist]

Depending on how big the dings are you can always do it yourself with one of those kits, but I had some pretty big gashes(from so many shark bites every time I go in) that I just took it to a surf shop, near my house on Us-1 and Dania called surf world and they did it for 75 bucks.

Took them about 2 weeks though.

BTW: I'm just kidding about the shark bites, ramp. :p

LoL down here in Miami,Surfing isn't as scary as in the West Coast.Cali has some big waves, and colder waters and the water is not as clear as it is here in Miami(which makes you think alot lol.I understand where Ramp is coming from though.

Well it's pretty dinged up all over, and I had used one of those kits once, didn't do a good job. I want to get it completely re-done. It got dinged up on the plane ride back from Mexico last summer.

Did surf world do a good job on your board?

Very good job. I reallydid have some major dents in the board and you can't even tell where they were anymore. The price was good too, but the time would be my only complaint. I thought it would be done a little quicker.
