Posted March 27, 200718 yr I can't get my audio to work properly on a new computer. It works fine for regular files if I use windows media player or Winamp, but I can't listen to anything online (i.e from youtube, flash files etc.) Is there a program I need to install (like Quicktime)? I'm clueless here, any help would be good.
March 27, 200718 yr You probably need an adobe flash plugin as well as the quicktime plugin. if you are running internet explorer i would suggest switching to firefox at http://www.getfirefox.com download it and install it. set it as your default browser. then once you've done that and u try to go to say...youtube... and watch a video a little bar at the top will pop up and say you are missing plugins to view whatever it is you're trying to view... click install plugins and it will run you through the proper procedure. hope this helps
March 27, 200718 yr Author I have firefox, and all adobe flash plugins. could it be I am not configuring my speakers correctly? I wish that bar prompting me to install plugins would be there...
