April 3, 200719 yr If the Marlins have sold 30,000+ tickets for the opener already, that is pretty damn good. Dolphin Stadium is considered a Marlins sellout at a bit above 36,000. A normal game gets anywhere from 4-7k walkup. Opening day could see a walkup of 6-10k easily. We could have a crowd of 40k...but the Marlins are looking to go around 37-38k and spread it out by getting more crowds into more games.

I would be happy if we got anything over 40.

April 4, 200719 yr it look like the fans coming out to see this young team play after last year i hope their play like last year if not fans wont return I'm afraid a lot of them are coming NOT to see our Marlins, but to root for the Phillies. But we'll wait and see...... :confused
April 4, 200719 yr man!!!!!! im skipping opening day to go ether on saturday or sunday...... when alot people wont be there, i dont want to go enjoy my team with a bunch fake ass people who are the game just be there cuz its the place to be...... it all depends on my work sceud...... saturday betta not be packed...... if it is ill go sunday, no way people wanna go to game at 1 pm on sunday in this hot ass sun...... most saturdays are packed. Your best bet would be to go sunday or during the milwakee series if you dont want to see alot of people. Isn't Sunday Easter? I'm not expecting a big crowd that day. Shame because the weather should be beautiful. It won't be uncomfortable on Sundays until May or so. And it's my birthday Have a great day then.
