Yankees-Sox game, Rubin Sierria (sp) comes in.

Takes two HUGE hacks and whiffs two HUGE times at the upper 90's fastball.

Next pitch, naturally, a home run.

Got exactly what he was swinging for.

that happens alot.

No it doesn't.

Usually when you go up to the plate thinking HR, you don't do it. It's a weird phycological thing that happens for tons of people.

And this was a three pitch AB I believe.

BIG swing, BIG whiff.

BIG swing, BIG whiff.

BIG swing, BIG HIT!

ok well i see that happen alot-especially when a pitcher thinks that just bc he blew him away with2 fastball-he thinks he can do it again-then BAM! home run!

Ruben Sierra (with that crazy a** r sound that every latin seems to be able to make except me)

I have seen better..

Does anyone remember in 1997 when we were playing the Rockies at JRS?...It was the bottom of the 9th,Marlins down by one, bases loaded, with Bonilla at the plate.

He fouled off about 10 2-strike pitches before hitting a game-winning Grand Slam that was amazing.

the marlins haven't hit alot of grand slams in the past-sry-dont rem.-but must have been cool.
