I feel unsafe in Boca (Being that Coral is the safest city lol) and I had forgotten how it is overpopulated with snooty senior citizens who drive 20 MPH below the speed limit lol. yeah, boca is chop full of old folks. but cape coral is TEEMING with the elderly. it's like the only retirement community not in south(east) florida. not too many pickup trucks in boca, though. that's a plus. Do you live in Cape Coral? From what I have seen Boca seems to have a higher population of old people then Cape Coral. Many of the old people have migrated from New York and into a community adjacent to where I live called Century Village. It's very rare to see someone who isn't under the age of 55 by the shopping center where I live.

i thought this may interest you guys considering he was an announcer for the Marlins for awhile. I hated him, he was awful. I wanna know what you guys thought of him. It seems that all the San Fransico fans I have talked to despise him while almost all the Marlins fans I know love him (including me). I don't get it.

I would love to see Angel back. I said before I would like to see Angel rotate between TV and radio broadcast (If he is hired.) so I could see him call a game on TV again but there would be no need for it.

My dad would allow me to skip school to attend opening day espically becaused I just moved back to Boca Raton and now JRS is only a 40 min. drive instead of a 3 hour drive.

A few years ago a couple of students were caught making a porno movie in the bathroom at the school I currently attend(Olympic Heights High). I wasn't enrolled at the school during that time but it is very discusting. It's a pretty bad school,my old school was much better(Cape Coral High).

Though, I would still prefer an Alomar. Explain why you would want Roberto Alomar. He is WAY past his prime and he's not exactly cheap.

We're not going to get Sheffield back either. He's just as much as Guerrero, and isn't as effective anymore. Sheffield is in his prime believe it or not. However I don't think we will get him. Encarnacion will probably get traded and I think someone like Raul Ibanez could be a good replacement.

Jeff Reboulet? Carlos Baerga? Denny Hocking? Jeff Reboulet turns 40 in April and hit 241. with 3 HR and 25 RBI through 93 games. Carlos Baerga is 35 he hit 343. with 4 HR and 39 RBI through 105 games. Denny Hocking is 33 he hit 239. with 3 HR and 22 RBI through 83 games. Not that good...I doubt Baerga is going to hit 343. next season.

So right now most favor Grudzie, but what other options are out there? I don't feel like he will come to our team. As far as free agent 2B are concered there is nothing but him.

Forget Hooper and Reese. If Castillo is not re-signed it looks as if Grudzielanek will come.

Hooper turns 28 in December and has no big league experience. There is no way those numbers could improve at the big league level and he isn't going to become a faster baserunner overtime.

If IT HAS TO come down to get a replacement 2nd baseman, give me Hooper, All other MLB 2nd basemen do not seem adequate for what we need to replace. Mark Grudzielanek would be an adequate replacement. I don't know about Hooper 266. AVG 1 HR 25 SB in AAA?

This isn't the Cy Young award it's the ROTY award which is not based entirely on the pithing performance. yeah but the man hit .240 - not .300 ? I'm sure his hitting skills were taking into account. 240. is good for a pitcher.
