Why dont they make a stadium for use for both the Marlins & Canes????

This is directly from the the FAQ that i received in the mail: Q: Do i have the option to purchase post-season playoff strips without a deposit for the 2006 regular season? A: No, you must put down a non-refundable deposit by choosing Option A (5 payment installments) or Option B (50% non-refundable deposit) for the 2006 saeason to secure your strips for the 2005 post-season.

I did call them up and the person explained to me that without a deposit towards 2006 season tickets they will not process my 2005 playoff tickets.

I just received by 2006 renewal along with 2005 playoff forms and wasn suprised to see that in order to get 2005 playoff tickets you need to renew for 2006. That is blackmail. I bought 2005 tickets in the 1st place b/c i could go to a couple of games and also get playoff tickets with nbo headaches and now they are trying to pull one over on me. I am not renweing for next year and im not going to a game again unless they are in the playoffs. I guess thats why the ticket base is dwindling when they treat people this way.

and his name is AJ Burnett. The marlins should do what the braves did a couple of years - place one of their best arms in the bullpen to minimize the risk of recurring arm injuries (ala John Smoltz). Mr Smoltz excelled in his role. Granted we need to get another arm to compensate or elevate Ismael Valdez from the injury list to take his place.

Starting April 3 & 4, Walgreens will start selling state quarters with names and pictures of star players. The Miggy Florida quarter will be on sale April 3 & 4, followed by other players like ARod (NY), and Ken Griffey Jr (Ohio). Mike Lowell will appear as well later on. Check the Miami Herald out on April 3 since they will have a coupon to get the Miggy quarter for $3.99 ($5.99 w/o coupon).
