Again which is why we should have traded Pavano instead of Redman.

I liked Redman in the regular season but I lost my confidence in him during the playoffs. He is good, but I don't think he is good enough for our rotation.

Using Wood's HR as an argument is weak. You can't base your opinion of a pitcher on one at bat. Everyone screws up sometimes... even Mariano Rivera... even Eric Gagne (All-Star game).

Ok! Look at Redman in game 2 of the Series. Same situation. In a jam. . . 2 outs. . . Home run!!!

Redman just isn't up to caliber as the rest of the staff. So we got rid of the right guy in my terms.

Don't get me wrong, here. I preferred to stay with Pavano over Redman. I just don't think the reason for that choice should come from a couple of at bats.

 

Regardless, this argument could go on forever, and this is a place for Looper.
