October 15, 200322 yr As reported in this WSI thread, a beer company put up a billboard on the Kennedy Expressway saluting the Cubs on winning the NL Pennant. Oops. I hope McKeon is made aware of this. BELIEVE.

I cant imagine what the guys would say when a reporter shows 'em a pic of the billboard.....something like "Oh, it's on NOW!!!" - Pudge... by the way, i heard Alou say in an interview that "the cubs will win tomorrow(today)" crazy
October 15, 200322 yr Author I think the best way to do this is have South Florida media find the billboard and show it to McKeon. For example, South Floridians on this board should call WTVJ's sports department and alert them to this.

What you should do is telephone WSVN 7 and have them send a crew to the billboard.

October 15, 200322 yr I heard that Kohl's (a department store with lots of stores in the Chicago area and elsewhere) has been selling Cubs world series shirts since like Sunday. Bad Karma. I LOVE IT!! GO MARLINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As of Tuesday morning the Cubs organization had already printed World Series tix, and their publicity dept. was circulating tickets to certain employees. Heard this all on WFTL, whose talk host recieved emails from friends in Chicago who had already recieved the tickets.
