wanks1212
I have to set up cable and internet service in my new house in Minneapolis next week. Does anyone have any companies they stay away from and any that they know of that are better than others? All suggestions appreciated. Gracias. CapeFish
Well, if you are like most of Minneapolis......you have a choice between Qwest and Comcast. Qwest is your typical baby bell. Phone, DSL, and DirecTV service are their Triple Play. Comcast has their Triple Play of VOIP (Comcast Voice), cable modem, and cable service. Qwest also has lifetime price guarantees (kinda like I do with EMBARQ) but like any service, both might ask you to sign a 1 or 2 year contract. Dish Network can also sell you Qwest DSL service: https://compass.getconnected.com/index.asp?...p;affil=echoweb Here's an article from the Star-Tribune comparing Qwest vs. Comcast: http://www.startribune.com/1229/story/1178308.html and http://www.startribune.com/1229/story/1178306.html
