Cabrera lacks the experience in the outfield right now and if you have a choice of still keepin his bat without benchin him you put him at DH not conine or encarnacion. sure Cabrera doesn't have the "experience". that doesnt mean he isnt fantastic. They all make amazing plays. Cabrera's D is pretty damn good as well.

Not to take anything away from Niner - he has been awesome in LF. But if I can have a 20yr. old pair of legs with a gun attatched to his right shoulder, I'm taking it. Don't tell me Cabrera can't climb a wall to rob a HR. How'd his lack of experience look in that web gem he had last night?

I think with Cabs, Lowell, Conine, Enc... and company all on one team we can't really go wrong.

 

Cabs had never played right field before in his life and he was playing it better than Sosa has all season

you're right. conine knows his stuff. i am not arguing that. Cabs has played LF fine all year, he can also play 3rd and aparantly RF as we all saw last night. I think he can also be an emergency short stop and maybe one day first base. this kid is our life saver. oh yea he can hit home runs too

However he doesnt hustle for the ball as much as he could which is probably why he hasnt made an error. Sometimes you have to take chances and make those huge plays.

 

I think Lowell should get a tiny bit of rest every once in a while just in case but he seems fine to me.

I'm coming to love the bandwagoners though, they spend money, they like the team, they want to learn about the team (some), and they spend money on the team. I also like their money. Bandwagoners can bring us a stadium and a plethora (thats right) of new, loyal fans. New fans have to come from somewhere.

I may have only registered a short time ago but i promise you that I have been a fan since the day I met Alex Fernandez when i was 8/9 years old in 93.

 

I have to admit I lost touch a tiny bit last year since i went to very few games but after going to Opening Day this season I felt some sort of magic i couldnt explain (even though we lost lol)

Yes....Registration date on a Marlins forum doesn't show if you are a bandwagoner or not...I joined in late July but I am one of the biggest most loyal Marlins fan you will ever meet.

I meant i became a fan of baseball in general back then. Alex Fernandez went to my elementary school as a youngin and knew my third grade teacher so he came to the class to say hi and talked to us. After that i started asking my dad to take me to Marlins game since they were the home team

i dunno ramp but i see it as common sense to start the veteran at lf than the rookie. and the bandwagon comment is more out of anger for the playoff tickets and every1 that thinks they know about the marlins all of a sudden when they dont. i know ur not a bandwagoner.

Hands down Encarnancion but I think Lowell should be rested by letting him DH while Cabs goes back to 3rd base and Encarnacion back to RF.
