October 16, 200322 yr Finally a voice of reason in FishFan#1. What wrong with you people? You guys must have shortesrt memory span ever. I think Conine did throw out the runner out at home in game 4 in the league division series. He also robbed a could have been homer in the series also. Cabrera lacks the experience in the outfield right now and if you have a choice of still keepin his bat without benchin him you put him at DH not conine or encarnacion. So think before you speak(bandwagoners)
October 16, 200322 yr sheesh stop making retarded "bandwagoner" comment. I think its pointless. sure Cabrera doesn't have the "experience". that doesnt mean he isnt fantastic. They all make amazing plays. Cabrera's D is pretty damn good as well.

So think before you speak(bandwagoners) I hope to GOD your not calling me a "bandwagoner" Not to take anything away from Niner - he has been awesome in LF. But if I can have a 20yr. old pair of legs with a gun attatched to his right shoulder, I'm taking it. Don't tell me Cabrera can't climb a wall to rob a HR. How'd his lack of experience look in that web gem he had last night? I'm happy either way they go
October 16, 200322 yr first there is a lot of bandwagoners on these forums who dont know s*** bout the marlins and havent seen them play all year except for the last couple of weeks. secondly conine has the smarts and the instincts in the outfield that cabrera might not have. for instance when conine threw the runner out at home in game 4. cabs might have dived for it and missed it or he might not have gotten rid of the ball as quickly as conine did.
October 16, 200322 yr I think with Cabs, Lowell, Conine, Enc... and company all on one team we can't really go wrong. Cabs had never played right field before in his life and he was playing it better than Sosa has all season
October 16, 200322 yr for instance when conine threw the runner out at home in game 4. cabs might have dived for it and missed it or he might not have gotten rid of the ball as quickly as conine did. What else is their besides this? And what is "might" have dived? I "might" be sitting behind homeplate the entire world series. Don't just listen to what Thom Brennaman and Steve Lyons say okay, I heard that too. "Might" don't mean s***. I'm still happy either way. Not trying to fight here-you just got me stirred up with the bandwagoner crap

Cabs has played LF fine all year, he can also play 3rd and aparantly RF as we all saw last night. I think he can also be an emergency short stop and maybe one day first base. this kid is our life saver. oh yea he can hit home runs too
October 16, 200322 yr cabs only played a couple games in right and not even half a season in left. he is a great fielder but u take experience over who might have the better arm or legs. plus conine doesnt run half bad. and carny hasnt made an error for like 2 seasons so id rather have him there then cabs too. keep cabs in rf when we play at home and put him at dh when we play away.
October 16, 200322 yr Cabs had never played right field before in his life and he was playing it better than Sosa has all season :thumbup didn't see Cabs falling on his a$$ did we?
October 16, 200322 yr im sayin to the ppl who are bandwagoners. i dont know if u r one or not. assuming by ur posts and ur date of registeration im guessin ur not. im just tryin to give u guys the whole thing. sumtimes ppl see the recent only than the past too.
October 16, 200322 yr yea i guys i just started watching these Marlins play 2 weeks ago... the truth comes out

It's true that Enc hasnt made an error all season (actually i think its been much longer than that) and i give him mad props for that. However he doesnt hustle for the ball as much as he could which is probably why he hasnt made an error. Sometimes you have to take chances and make those huge plays. I think Lowell should get a tiny bit of rest every once in a while just in case but he seems fine to me.

I understand where your coming from. If Admin wasn't in poopy pants in 92 I would have registered then I'm coming to love the bandwagoners though, they spend money, they like the team, they want to learn about the team (some), and they spend money on the team. I also like their money. Bandwagoners can bring us a stadium and a plethora (thats right) of new, loyal fans. New fans have to come from somewhere.
October 16, 200322 yr yea i guys i just started watching these Marlins play 2 weeks ago... the truth comes out Ramp = definiton of bandwagoner

October 16, 200322 yr I may have only registered a short time ago but i promise you that I have been a fan since the day I met Alex Fernandez when i was 8/9 years old in 93. I have to admit I lost touch a tiny bit last year since i went to very few games but after going to Opening Day this season I felt some sort of magic i couldnt explain (even though we lost lol)

I still thik Enc is great btw I just have a pet peeve about those sort of things.
October 16, 200322 yr its true:he needs 2 hustle more 2 cath some fly balls and its all bc one time he went running full speed and fell over the fence ino the marlins dugout at the pro-ever since than he said that 1 out isn't worth getting hurt and ending my season.
October 16, 200322 yr so because I think Conine should sit on the bench and DH, I am a bandwagoner? come on... have you not watched the D Cabs played in LF this year? he had about 4 assists at home too... but what do i know, i have only followed this team since the playoffs
October 16, 200322 yr ya bandwagoners do bring money for us to spend next year but they keep takin my playoff tickets :angry after ive been following them the whole year. but its all good if they stick wit us for years to come. also broadway babe alex fernandez wasnt on team in 93? im guessin u meant 97?

I have to admit I lost touch a tiny bit last year since i went to very few games but after going to Opening Day this season I felt some sort of magic i couldnt explain (even though we lost lol) Yes....Registration date on a Marlins forum doesn't show if you are a bandwagoner or not...I joined in late July but I am one of the biggest most loyal Marlins fan you will ever meet. BTW...How did Alex Fernandez make you become a fan in 93'?
October 16, 200322 yr he said that 1 out isn't worth getting hurt and ending my season. cough bulls*** cough

I meant i became a fan of baseball in general back then. Alex Fernandez went to my elementary school as a youngin and knew my third grade teacher so he came to the class to say hi and talked to us. After that i started asking my dad to take me to Marlins game since they were the home team
October 16, 200322 yr i dunno ramp but i see it as common sense to start the veteran at lf than the rookie. and the bandwagon comment is more out of anger for the playoff tickets and every1 that thinks they know about the marlins all of a sudden when they dont. i know ur not a bandwagoner.
October 16, 200322 yr Hands down Encarnancion but I think Lowell should be rested by letting him DH while Cabs goes back to 3rd base and Encarnacion back to RF. I couldn't have said it any better myself. :thumbup
