Guest FishFanInPA
Highly regarded Marlins pitching prospect Ryan Tucker is on indefinite suspension for insubordination after walking away when Jupiter pitching coach Reid Cornelius was speaking to him on the mound. Florida's top prospects -- Chris Volstad (Single A Jupiter) and Gaby Hernandez (Double A Carolina) -- have pitched better after slow starts, though Volstad has allowed a lot of baserunners (152 in 99 innings). asu79
You do not show the source of the quote ... If true, I am sorry to hear it. Tucker has been the most effective of the 2005 class starters in Jupiter so far this season. I would have thought he would be among the first in line to move up to AA. One of his strengths seems to be his aggressive attitude on the mound ... part of the maturing process is to keep this focused toward the game, not toward coaches and teammates. Maybe it is good that any attitude issues are being addressed early ...
