August 9, 200718 yr Author The marlins lead the league in errors, that may have something to do with it... Your 3B has 18 errors Your SS has 16 errors The bats are Great no doubt, but that is rediculous. Cabrera has no business being a 3rd basemen with the weigt he put on. He needs to be moved to first. I know I will be flamed for that, but it is the truth. Cabs has lost about 10-15 lbs since his albatross days in April/May he's in much better shape than he was he doesn't need to be moved anywhere
August 9, 200718 yr Also, it is worth noting that Adam "worst starter in the league" Eaton has more wins and a lower WHIP than the Marlins "ace" Dontrelle Willis does. Then we start talking about Ryan Howard, which people get pissed about... All I hear is cabbs this Cabbs That.... Hate to break it to ya, but Howard i carrying this season since utleys injury, and carried last season when utley slumped. It makes the team where it is today. You say Cabrera, I say Howard You say Hanley, I say Utley Those seem to be the 2 cornerstones of both team eh? imagine them Combined? Howard Utley Hanley Miggy? That's it. We're merging the Marlins and the Phillies. At least Phillies fans can take solace in the fact they'll be tripling their current World Series title holdings. :mischief

There is no shame in moving him to first.

Jacobs is a below average with the glove and the bat. The only thing Jacobs has going for him is he plays for minimum wage and will continue to do so next year. I wouldn't mind if next year Cabrera or Hammer or even Hermida (hands down our worst defensive player) moved to 1B.

August 9, 200718 yr but be good time now to start looking pitcher we have farm team so we can look who can help us next year our pitching staff need to be redone with some good pitcher in farm system Well miamibaseball haven't you learned from our fellow posters that the reason we play like the Bad News Bears is because of injuries and bad luck? Next year we should have Olsen, Dontrelle and Mitre back and with Nolasco and Sanchez our rotation should be the league's best. Don't worry about anything. All the problems are injury and bad luck related.
