August 17, 200719 yr Wily Mo Pena has been traded to the Nationals, according to the Boston Herald. So there was one team out there that wanted to take a chance on his power, and it comes as little surprise as it's the one run by Jim Bowden. Pena should get an extended look in a corner over the rest of the season, making him worth picking up in NL-only leagues. Nook Logan figures to lose playing time, with Ryan Church moving to center. http://rotoworld.com/content/playerpages/p...555&id=3071
August 17, 200719 yr Good job Theo waiting on this until the last possible moment and working something out so we didn't have to designate him.
August 17, 200719 yr Nice pick-up by the Nats. If they had the pitching they would have a nice squad.
August 17, 200719 yr i argue they have the pitching and lack the hitting. I second that. Pitching's fine, not great but fine, to hang with the NL second tier teams.

August 17, 200719 yr Don't forget the man himself, Jim Bowden. Well yeah, he is the one bringing all these guys in. None of them were in D.C. before he arrived.

August 17, 200719 yr Nationals need to pick up one or two star player(s)...what they have now is a pretty solid supporting cast, but extremely weak at the top
