November 27, 200718 yr Phoenix Police have detained a 13-year-old boy after he allegedly pointed a laser at a police helicopter Monday evening. Phoenix police say the helicopter was hit with a bright green laser light. The air unit officers circled around to see where the laser was coming from. Patrol officers found the suspect in the backyard of a central Phoenix residence with a green laser light in his possession. Police say the boy was taken into custody.
