The Most Perfect Man on the Face of the Earth?

Makes me want to take a drill to my head, I hate it in so many different ways.

I'm glad I don't live where this would be playing regularly.

What a patronizingly gay ad.

I also dislike it, but I think it is a brilliant political move. He's hoping to sweep the Evangelical vote, and this will help him do it.

A lot of evangelicals don't like this and are turned off by it.

Using the Lord's name for political gain is not a good move.

Plus it reeks of pandering.

*puke*

Who isn't pandering in this election? It certainly shouldn't be a surprise.

However, it seems like Huckabee and Romney in particular have been pandering more than anyone.

I can't stand Romney, and don't like Huckabee.

The Republicans should nominate their most qualified and respected candidate: John McCain.

I would be thrilled with Obama v. McCain. I would vote for Obama, but would know that either way we would have a good president.

I'm a religious nutjob and I know that other nutters will LIKE this advertisement. Plus, it gets gratuitous free air play. good move.

Just curious, but why would you vote for Obama over McCain? What exactly has he shown that would make him a better leader than McCain?

I agree, I would almost surely vote for McCain over just about every Democrat....unless Lieberman ran :mischief

I'm a Democrat. I vote for a Democrat no matter what, unless we nominated some bozo like Kucinich. The fact that I would be more than okay with McCain is a testament to McCain.

Myriad of policy differences? Iraq? Abortion? McCain is a pretty solid conservative but for his tussle with the Christian Right in 2000.

McCain is an honest and quality leader, but you can't be surprised that he is far from a democrat.

If you are opposed to the Iraq war, don't vote for McCain. He wanted us to send MORE troops into that quagmire.

Lieberman is no longer welcome in the DNC, thank god. If it were up to him, we would have bombed Iran years ago, just for looking at us funny. He's more hawkish than many Republicans, which is hard to believe.

When figuring out who I want to vote for on the Republican ticket, I'm definitely consulting FutureGM.

On second thought I agree with you. It is disgusting. Yesterday was the first time I noticed the white cross behind him. I can't stand Huckabee now.
