Let us say again just how ridiculous it is that Silva isn't bringing the Twins back a draft pick. The bogus Elias Rankings deemed him unworthy of a Type A or Type B ranking, though that didn't prevent the Mariners from forking over $48 million. It's an incredible haul for a guy who spent part of 2006 banished to the pen and has given up more than a run for every strikeout he's recorded in each of his four seasons as a starting pitcher.
