nelson didnot have good camp i have feeling he cut or send to aaa

nelson has an ERA of 3.38, how can anyone say he didn't have a good camp? considering he's coming off surgery and lost 20-30 lbs from some disease he picked up just before camp, I think he did pretty well this spring.

 

I'll take 3.38 from a reliever any day. things like today happen, look at his 10th inning came back and shut them down.

 

I'm not saying he's godzilla because he isn't but guys like Nelson and Gardner, with their years of experience have value to any team. it's a matter of using them in the right situations.

and about scott olsen's outing which is almost lost in the tie, pitched well, they must have some confidence whatever was botheroing is behind him. let's hope so.

Yup, hopefully Scotty is ready on Opening Day. We'll see. Nolasco did pretty well too.
