March 27, 200818 yr Broken record--why is Uggla batting second again!? Uggla has the power and run production ability to be a good number 5 hitter and he will hopefully be there sometime this season. But until somebody else can assume the leadoff spot (Maybin), Ramirez has to stay there which throws the entire lineup off. Once Maybin gets called up, the lineup should be alot more balanced with uggla in the 5 hole because Hanley would be able to bat third. We might see it eventually look something like this: 1. Maybin 2. Hermida 3. Ramirez 4. Willingham 5. Uggla 6. Jacobs 7. Cantu 8. Robelo/Treanor 9. Pitcher I like Uggla in the two hole because he is a catalyst and I like having our best batters get the most ABs. He isn't the prototypical two hitter but we've been among the leagues top scorers with him there. I only worry that our middle of the order just isn't up to par; Jacobs and Willy are good hitters but great and are better served as 5-6 batters.

March 28, 200818 yr When you look at the Sun Sentinel's team preview, it lists Cody Ross as our CF. It also lists everyones order in the lineup. I guess it ends the speculation
