October 26, 200322 yr A poor guy :confused wanting to help his family and support the Marlins could go to jail. It's in the news. Read this ... http://www.emediawire.com/releases/2003/10.../prweb86449.htm :jump LONG LIVE THE MARLINS! And GOD save this poor man. Should the man sink :thumbup or fry :thumbdown ? What do you think?
October 26, 200322 yr I see NOTHING wrong with what the guy did...he just showed his love and support for the Marlins. What a crock of crap! I suppose now they're gonna go after the people who designed the YUCK THE FANKEES t-shirts I saw being sold on eBay?! Sometimes I really think the donut-loving police have no class, no sense of humor, and just plain SUCK!
October 26, 200322 yr This just proves one thing... Metro Miami Dade Police are a bunch of Crankee Fans!
October 26, 200322 yr Wow, that happened about 5 minutes away from my house. But I don't understand what was illegal about what he did-people sell stuff on the street all the time.
October 26, 200322 yr wow, i feel like i just read a communist propaganda packet. who wrote that article? i'm like 99.999% sure the writer left out some important points
October 26, 200322 yr it's a freaking press release. by whom, i don't know. i wouldn't be surprised if the guy was intoxicated and wielding a knife at that street corner
October 26, 200322 yr emediawire, part of "PR web", is a service to let anyone publish "press releases" on the internet. looks like new member truemarlinsfan AKA joseph stalin has been doing some writing lately...
October 26, 200322 yr Author alkazoid, U must be one of those pig :nono . loving scum. It's the total truth. It happed to a good friend of mine. He even showed me the arrest report. Dade Cops are ball busters. They would arrest their mothers if they could. And we all know troopers are worst. Why don't you call the Hammocks police station to verify? Either way, Marlins won! And all I'm doing is telling like it is! Go Marlins!
October 27, 200322 yr Author :chair I too hate cops. They look for any reason to damp people's HIGH spirits.
October 27, 200322 yr Sometimes I really think the donut-loving police have no class, no sense of humor, and just plain SUCK! The article made clear they were probably rookies (who usually are high on power trips). I sometimes think people who paint people with broad brushes suck worse. I expect you are the type who call for police when you are in trouble... :thumbdown but bad mouths them as a whole when one or two screws up.
October 28, 200322 yr Author The article made clear they were probably rookies (who usually are high on power trips). Rookie or not. I've seen cops break the law in front of other cops. Only for them to turn their heads as if nothing happened. Just becuase they enforce the law, does not mean that they are above the law. For example, how many times have you seen cops hauling a** on the freeway without their police lights on? This is illegal, they could only reach high speeds if on a call. Many people have died because of this recklessness. But I don't want to get off what this is truly about. That day was a day for Marlin fans. A day for everyone to support their team. I'm not saying it would be ok if the dude killed somebody. But the poor guy was showing his support and selling Marlin buttons of all things. It's not like it was crack cocaine. But I bet if the poor guy was an off duty police officer nothing would have happend. How about those people standing on the side of the road when the Marlins came to town? Wouldn't you be outraged if a cop started hauling people to jail for illegal assembly or jay walking while showing support for their team? It's just B.S. and petty. :angry
October 28, 200322 yr :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol personally, I like the cops in miami. i've never seen another place in this entire country where you can just whizz by cops going 80mph in a 55. strike one up for the good guys! :thumbup
