I've been waiting for this moment for 22 years... 22 years of hearing,dude the Celtics,why? 22 years i've had to hear people ask me why do i love the Celtics,Admin Bird,Admin Bird is your favorite player,the white guy. This Championship is for the true Celtic fans that stuck with the team through all the bad years,through all the bad luck,this championship is for Red,"I would play with a broken arm for Red,Admin Bird once said.This Championship is for D.J. and Reggie Lewis and Len Bias.This Championship is for Admin Bird who just wanted one more.This Championship is for Paul Pierce,This Championship is for all the hurt we've had to go through of repeatedly getting srcewed in the Draft(Tim Duncan,Kevin Durant).Finally the Boston Celtics are World Champions once again.Can't wait to see that 17th banner get lifted to were it belongs. June 23, 200818 yr This was a nightmare Finals for me. For one, I hate Kobe and I hate the New England area. Both entities have a monopoly on the media. I can't turn on ESPN without some deuschbag spitting out "Youk does it again!" or some sh*t about the Patriots or Kobe. There is no Celtics-Lakers rivalry. That is a thing of the past. That is the identity other eras, respectfully so. The identity of this generation of basketball so far is the Pistons and Spurs. That is now passing. But please, I just hope the NBA gives us some originality this time around, not the whole superficial, nostalgic Lakers-Celtics crap. Go Heat. :hat
