Yes! I did notice the one regarding Langley that seemed pretty odd going from Single A to AAA all in one whack, especially since he was not doing anything in Greensboro. Also, did you know that the year he was drafted (2006) he jumped from the gulf coast league to Albuquerque as well??? Pretty odd...

 

Also Grant has had a HORRIBLE year in the minors. He hit .096 for Carolina, then got sent down to Jupiter where he hit .169 and now he's back in Carolina. He did, however, hit .500 for Albuquerque (9 for 18 with 3 HRs - I know the Isotopes stadium is a hitter friendly stadium).

 

As far as Corcoran is concerned, he's too old (30) to be playing in Jupiter. He should have been dominating hitters, but he allowed five runs in 3.1 IP. He's been in Tampa's system the past couple years but could never stick in the majors.

 

And McCall, well....his demotion is just due to lack of production. At Carolina, he was 1-4 with a 5.60 ERA. His K:BB rate was 25:14

Check all the rosters, there is a lot of action going on.

I agree that's very odd with Langley.

I think what makes it more odd is that there are now 3 catchers on the roster in AAA between Baker, Rabelo and Langley. Weird why you would need 3 there.

Why in the word would Langley be promoted from A to AAA. I guess we are desperate for a catcher... we will do anyhing for one.

Langley is already back in Greensboro. Apparently they were down to one catcher in Albuquerque & needed a body.

You're too funny! Actually, when they move these kids they MUST fly to every destination. They either have to ship their cars or get someone to drive their car to their assignment. Very expensive.

 

Langley probably got a good case of jet lag. Maybe he got some free gear out of it!!!

or maybe the istopes were on an east coast road trip at the time
