July 12, 200818 yr I don't want to "jump the gun" on this one, but the Marlins rotation is stacked with talent. Where do they rank in the division and in the NL? I got to put them ahead of the Phillies. The Phills do have Hamels, but we have 5 pitchers who have the potential to be better than Hamels each and every night. Other than Hamels, and Moyer (Only when he faces the Fish), they are kinda weak. Myers is terrible, and Kendrick is solid but anything speical. The Mets have a decent one, after Johan they are weak. Pedro has not been that good, and John Maine is still not bad. The Braves and Nats are weak. The Braves have Jurrjens and Hudson but no one else really.
July 12, 200818 yr I don't want to "jump the gun" on this one Too late. Seriously guys, it's been 3 quality starts in a row ... let's not get carried away. Give it a few more months and then we'll see where these guys rank.

For the past 2-3 years we have imagined what the roation would be like if we have everyone healthy, and the guys from the minors in the majors. Well we just about have that right now.?

I agree, its scary right now, but... I am not going to assume we are going to kill everyone in the second half for the sake of my life. If we do win a ton of games with these pitchers great! but I am just trying to stay level headed. :jump

July 12, 200818 yr The Phills do have Hamels, but we have 5 pitchers who have the potential to be better than Hamels each and every night. The only pitcher we have with argueably more potential is Andrew Miller, and that's only argueably. There's probably a better case for Hamels (considering that last year, Hamels was the same age as Miller is this year, and last year Hamels put togeather a 177/43 K/BB, 1.12 WHIP season), and none of our pitchers are close to what Hamels' has done this year (0.99 WHIP!).
July 12, 200818 yr It certainley exciting but erick is right lets no jump the gun. Wait till September to judge.
