August 3, 200818 yr So there's a lot of issues with the whole pythagorean record thing about people making it the rule rather than making it an observation, but this also would help shut up all the "The Marlins rotation is horrible" thing. Our run differential with our current starting 5: +31 Our run differential with everyone else: -53 :whistle Everyone here should already know this but just putting the numbers togeather to back it up.
August 3, 200818 yr Good data. It'll shut the skeptics up if the totally revamped rotation continues to perform, which they have a pretty good chance of doing. If they do, the "they only hit home runs" and the "they can't field for sh!t" component of the commentariat will be totally mystified when they wind up in the post-season. When else has anyone with no starter over the age of 25 done that? Probably never. So, if it happens, it'll make a whole lot of people look really, really silly. Beinfest-ball might supplant whatever-ball. It would be the equivalent of a change in the Earth's magnetic field.

Yesterday I was meaning to look at the ERA, ERA+ and WHIP of the new rotation but didn't get around to it so I may do it tomorrow at work if I have time to waste.. but if you can do it it would be awesome.
